推開老家雜物間積著薄灰的木門，最先撞入眼簾的就是這臺(tái)紅漆還鮮亮的手扶微耕機(jī)。它安安穩(wěn)穩(wěn)靠在白墻根，被各色編織袋、農(nóng)具雜物圍在中間，像一位卸甲歸田的老戰(zhàn)士，靜靜守著一屋子煙火氣，也藏著我家大半段的農(nóng)耕記憶。

這臺(tái)柴油機(jī)微耕機(jī)是父親十年前咬咬牙攢錢換的“新家伙”。在它之前，我們家的地全靠鋤頭翻、耕牛犁，遇上春播搶農(nóng)時(shí)，父親天不亮就下地，太陽(yáng)落山還直不起腰，一畝地翻完要耗上整整大半天。買回來那天，整個(gè)院子都熱鬧了——紅通通的機(jī)身，黑亮的消音器，鐵齒輪爪锃亮得能反光，父親圍著它轉(zhuǎn)了三圈，連晚飯都捧著飯碗蹲在邊上看，擦了又擦機(jī)身上的浮灰。那之后的每個(gè)春天，它都是地里最得力的幫手。

天剛亮，父親就把它推到地頭，搖響柴油機(jī)的瞬間，“突突突”的轟鳴打破村子的安靜，黑藍(lán)的煙順著排氣管慢慢飄進(jìn)麥地里，扶手震得微微發(fā)麻，深齒鐵輪一轉(zhuǎn)，就翻開齊刷刷齊整濕潤(rùn)的泥壟，比人工快了不止十倍。原先要忙半個(gè)月的翻地活兒，現(xiàn)在五天就能干完，父親靠在田埂抽煙的時(shí)候，總摸著這臺(tái)機(jī)器笑，說這玩意兒才是真正的“壯勞力”。后來我們家的地轉(zhuǎn)包給了村里的種糧大戶，父親也跟著我們住進(jìn)了縣城，這臺(tái)跟著他出了好幾年力的微耕機(jī)，舍不得賣，也扔不下，就拉回了老家的儲(chǔ)藏室，和那些空化肥袋、捆好的水管、舊籮筐堆在了一起。
