據(jù)公開資料顯示，臨沂河?xùn)|醫(yī)院是二級甲等綜合性醫(yī)院。該院前身為1958年成立的臨沂縣獨(dú)樹頭區(qū)衛(wèi)生院，后歷經(jīng)2次改名，1995年8月在衛(wèi)生院基礎(chǔ)上擴(kuò)建升格，更名為臨沂市河?xùn)|區(qū)人民醫(yī)院。該院于2004年和2014年曾兩次改制，2004年改制為股份制醫(yī)院，2014年徹底變成民辦醫(yī)院。2021年，經(jīng)臨沂市行政審批服務(wù)局批準(zhǔn)更名為“臨沂河?xùn)|醫(yī)院”。
