4月7日，國家廣播電視總局發布的新版播出機構名錄（截至2026年3月31日）中，廣東廣播電視臺現代教育頻道已被撤銷備案。
經了解，廣東廣播電視臺現代教育頻道，將于2026年4月30日停止播出。
實際上，關于現代教育頻道停播早在去年就已有跡可循。
2025年6月，廣東主流媒體吹響系統性變革沖鋒號。其中，廣東廣播電視臺計劃首批停播3個電視頻道和3個廣播頻率，現代教育頻道位列其中。
現代教育頻道停播，也標志著廣東臺系統性變革與資源優化調整工作，正在按計劃穩步推進、逐步落地。
