4月14日，重慶彭水縣鞍子鎮干田村有市民拍到河道里流著紅色的水。
15日，記者從重慶彭水縣生態環境局獲悉，系當地居民將制香的染料倒進了河道，經持續監測未發現水體水質異常，目前，水流已恢復正常，當地持續監測水質的同時，已告誡居民不可隨意往河道里傾倒。
