當地時間5月11日，伊朗外交部發言人巴蓋伊在記者會上表示，伊朗所提的協議，是合理、負責的要求，并做出了讓步，符合伊朗的國家利益，也符合整個地區與全世界的穩定與安全要求。巴蓋伊同時表示，是美國受以色列敘事引導，提出單邊與無理的要求。
