2026年第79屆托尼獎頒獎禮于周日舉行，三小時的電視直播將20余座獎杯授予了本季百老匯的杰出舞臺作品與幕后人才。
音樂劇類提名中，改編自1987年吸血鬼電影的同名舞臺劇《The Lost Boys》與基于蘋果電視短命劇集的《Schmigadoon!》各自斬獲12項提名領跑。緊隨其后的是宏大歷史劇復排版《Ragtime》，該劇獲得11項提名。以舞廳風重新詮釋安德魯·勞埃德·韋伯經典爭議作品的《Cats: The Jellicle Ball》與全明星陣容復排的邪典喜劇《Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show》則以9項提名緊咬不放。

最終獲獎名單塵埃落定：戲劇類最佳由《Liberation》摘得桂冠，它成功擊敗了同樣入圍的《The Balusters》《Giant》與《Little Bear Ridge Road》。在競爭最為激烈的音樂劇類別中，《Schmigadoon!》力壓《The Lost Boys》《Titaníque》與《Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)》奪魁。話劇復排方面，《Death of a Salesman》擊敗《Becky Shaw》《Every Brilliant Thing》《Fallen Angels》與《Oedipus》稱雄。音樂劇復排獎座則歸屬《Ragtime》，該劇戰勝了《Cats: The Jellicle Ball》與《Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show》。在表演獎項中，出演《Giant》的John Lithgow贏得最佳男主角，力克來自《Punch》的Will Harrison、《Death of a Salesman》的Nathan Lane以及《Every Brilliant Thing》的Daniel Radcliffe等實力對手。
