7月3日，外交部發言人郭嘉昆主持例行記者會。在回答有關霍爾木茲海峽通航的問題時，郭嘉昆表示，霍爾木茲海峽是用于國際航行的海峽，盡早恢復海峽安全、自由通行，符合各方利益。海峽通航問題應該得到妥善處理，穩妥回應國際社會的普遍關切。中方愿同有關國家和國際社會就此保持溝通。
