徐薇是一位活躍在當(dāng)代藝術(shù)領(lǐng)域的策展人及藝術(shù)寫作者，現(xiàn)工作居住于上海。她與傳統(tǒng)藝術(shù)評(píng)論者不同，擅長從社會(huì)現(xiàn)實(shí)與心理角度分析藝術(shù)本質(zhì)，幫助大眾跨越藝術(shù)史與藝術(shù)哲學(xué)的障礙，建立當(dāng)代藝術(shù)與大眾間的聯(lián)系。徐薇長期開展公眾藝術(shù)教育課程及講座，幫助更多人進(jìn)入藝術(shù)本質(zhì)，從藝術(shù)中獲取提升自我、改造現(xiàn)實(shí)的力量。

Xu Wei is an active curator and art writer in the field of contemporary art. She is also a director of IACAET China, the International Association for Creative Arts Education and Therapy. She currently works and lives in Shanghai. Different from traditional art critics, she is good at analyzing the nature of art from the perspective of social reality and psychology, helping the public to overcome the obstacles of art history and art philosophy, and establishing a connection between contemporary art and the public. Xu Wei has been conducting public art education courses and lectures for a long time to help more people enter the essence of art and gain the power to improve themselves and transform reality from art.

Xu Wei is the author of the art criticism monograph "The Nirvana of Art". Recent curated exhibitions and art projects include: Sprit Labor: Shen Chen's Art Work (Chun Art Museum, Shanghai, 2023); Ten Thousand Mountains: Wang Yizhou's Solo Exhibition (Chun Art Museum,Shanghai,2023); First Question: Why Abstraction (Muxi Gallery, Shanghai, 2023); I am Here (Suns Living Gallery, Beijing, 2023); Existence and Repetition (Chun Art Museum ,Shanghai, 2022), etc.
