隨著當前美以對伊朗的戰爭進入第六周，許多評論都聚焦于這場沖突對全球油價以及通過霍爾木茲海峽的碳氫化合物出口流量的潛在影響。本次講座將對海灣國家及其在全球經濟中的地位進行更深入的分析，探討過去十年間海灣國家經濟如何實現多元化，從而深度參與包括化肥和化學品在內的其他一系列關鍵商品領域。從這一視角出發，講座將探討這場戰爭持續下去會給全球南方其他國家帶來的極其嚴重的后果。
As the current US-Israeli war against Iran enters its sixth week, much commentary has focused on the potential impact of the conflict on the global oil price and the flow of hydrocarbon exports through the Strait of Hormuz. This lecture provides a deeper analysis of the Gulf states and their place in the global economy, exploring how the Gulf's economies have diversified over the last decade to become centrally involved in a range of other critical commodities, including fertilizers and chemicals. From this perspective, the lecture will explore the very serious consequences that a continuation of the war might have on other countries in the Global South.
