據央視新聞報道，總臺記者獲悉，當地時間5月12日23時47分左右，伊朗德黑蘭地區發生4.6級地震。震中位于德黑蘭省和馬贊德蘭省交界處，距離伊朗首都德黑蘭市41公里；震源深度為10公里。
當地時間12日23時45分左右，新華社記者在德黑蘭市感受到明顯震感，駐地房間發生晃動。
伊朗紅新月會負責人表示，尚未收到人員傷亡或財產損失報告，呼吁民眾保持冷靜，無需過度擔憂。
