哥倫比亞外交部20日宣布驅逐玻利維亞駐哥倫比亞大使阿列爾·皮門特爾。

Colombia's Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that it has expelled Ariel Percy Molina Pimentel, charge d'affaires of the Bolivian Embassy in Colombia.

玻利維亞外交部20日發布公報，要求哥倫比亞駐玻大使伊麗莎白·加西亞結束其在玻境內履行的外交職務，限期離境。

The move was taken on a reciprocal basis after Bolivia asked Colombian Ambassador Elizabeth Garcia to leave.

Earlier on the same day, Bolivia requested that Colombian Ambassador Elizabeth Garcia conclude her diplomatic mission following remarks by Colombian President Gustavo Petro on Bolivia's internal unrest, which La Paz described as interference in its domestic affairs.

公報說，玻國內政治和社會分歧應僅在玻憲法框架內來解決，不應受到外部干預。該決定并不意味著與哥倫比亞斷絕外交關系。

The ministry said no official or member of the Colombian government had sought to interfere in Bolivia's internal affairs, reaffirming Colombia's commitment to the principles of sovereign equality, non-intervention, self-determination, peaceful settlement of disputes and respect for territorial integrity.

玻外交部長費爾南多·阿拉馬約早些時候接受媒體采訪時表示，由于哥倫比亞總統佩特羅持續就玻局勢發表聲明，玻政府已宣布加西亞為“不受歡迎的人”。

佩特羅17日在社交媒體發文稱，“玻利維亞正在經歷一場人民起義”，并表示哥政府愿在受邀情況下協助推動“和平解決玻政治危機”。

近期因經濟形勢惡化和燃料短缺問題加劇，玻利維亞國內抗議活動持續升級，示威者通過封鎖道路等方式阻斷食品、燃料等物資運輸。
