我踩過泥濘的苔痕，恍惚聽見鐵鋤叩擊碎石的脆響——那是多少個清晨，母親總在薄霧未散時荷鋤出門，發(fā)梢凝結(jié)的露珠映著朝霞，亮晶晶的。

夏日的黃昏最是漫長。我總在放學(xué)路上數(shù)著籬笆邊的蛇莓，紅瑪瑙似的果子墜在草葉間。母親教我尋一種芯草，抽出的青莖像未紡的蠶絲。我們并坐在田埂上剝草芯，她粗糙的指尖小心翼翼，頃刻便攢出雪白的一捧。"喏，銀絲面餅。"她將草芯團(tuán)成月餅狀塞進(jìn)我嘴里，甜津津的草木氣息在齒間漫開。那時的我不懂，為何母親總把最嫩的芯尖留給我，自己嚼著稍老的草芯，仿佛在吞咽童年的饑餓。

暮色四合時，小路便成了流動的星河。母親挎著沾滿夜露的菜籃，鋤柄上還沾著新翻的泥土。月光在池塘里碎成銀箔，我的竹床就支在槐樹下。蒲扇搖動的風(fēng)裹著槐花香，混著脆生生的啃黃瓜聲，驚起蘆葦叢里的流螢。母親說天上的星星是離鄉(xiāng)人提的燈籠，而今夜我仰頭數(shù)星，卻看見她鬢角早生的霜。

秋收的扁擔(dān)壓彎了小路的脊梁。我伏在籮筐里，隨母親挑著新摘的花生搖搖晃晃。炒熟的果仁在葫蘆瓢里散香，油紙包著的豆子還帶著日頭的余溫。當(dāng)暮色浸透打谷場，我們會踩著咯吱作響的稻茬回家，身后拖著的影子似和田壟比長。母親把撿回的棉花曬太陽時，總念叨著要給我縫件厚實的棉襖。娘自己種棉花給孩子做棉襖！
