財聯社5月25日電，英國氣象局數據顯示，首都倫敦希思羅機場地區當地時間5月25日氣溫達到33.5攝氏度，打破了英國5月單日高溫紀錄。英國有氣象記錄以來，上一個“最熱五月天”氣溫最高為32.8攝氏度，第一次發生于1922年，第二次、也是上一次出現在1944年。
