北京時間6月22日，據ESPN記者Shams報道，CJ-麥科勒姆與亞特蘭大老鷹提前達成1年2100萬美元的續約。
Shams表示：“Excel Sports Management的經紀人Sam Goldfeder告訴ESPN，亞特蘭大老鷹后衛CJ-麥科勒姆與球隊達成1年2100萬美元的續約。麥科勒姆在6月30日之前有資格提前續約，避免成為自由球員。”
2022年，麥科勒姆與鵜鶘達成2年6400萬美元的提前續約，該合同將于今夏到期。上賽季，麥科勒姆場均可以得到18.7分3.1籃板4.1助攻。
