齊魯網·閃電新聞6月15日訊 第二屆世界古典學大會在希臘召開前夕，一場跨越萬里的文明對話在雅典如期上演。當地時間6月8日，“遇?鑒：跨越時空的對話”活動在雅典尼亞斯米尼市政博物館正式啟幕。啟動儀式上，山東代表團向雅典科學院院士馬諾利斯?科雷斯贈送了其著作《希臘羅馬建筑典范——希羅德?阿提庫斯劇場屋頂》中譯本，兌現了兩年前在曲阜許下的“尼山之約”。
On the eve of the Second World Conference of Classics held in Greece, a dialogue between civilizations spanning thousands of miles unfolded as scheduled in Athens. On June 8 local time, the event “Encounter & Enlighten: A Dialogue Across Time and Space” officially launched at the Nea Smyrni Municipal Cultural Centre in Athens. During the opening ceremony, the Shandong delegation presented Manolis Korres, Member of the Academy of Athens, with the Chinese version of his work, The Model of Greek and Roman Architecture: The Odeion Roof of Herodes Atticus, thereby fulfilling the “Nishan Promise” made two years ago in Qufu.
